Hi, my name is Jean-Michel and I would like to join Athen Paladins on the new RK2019 server. My character name is Vykcs . I have been playing AO since the very beginning (on and off) in 2001.

I am applying for Vykcs, Clan lvl 3 Solitus Soldier on RK2019 (leveling up as I'm writing this down) (Edit: capped Lvl 20 now)

I would like to play clan for a change. I've been playing Omni for 18 years now on the reg server RK. My characters names on RK to name only the highiest ones are:

1st account: Omni Warna, Doctor 220/30/70 Nanomage
2nd account: Omni Funk, Soldier 220/30/70 Solitus
Omni Skyteur, Enf 200/something/somthing Atrox (my oldest character /born Skyteur was born on Sat May 25 16:14:31 2002)

My original character Imanmasha in 2001 was deleted before making my enf.
My time zone is -5 GMT I am usually online around 21:00 (when my kids are sleeping).

A little bit of me:
I am Canadian, I speak english and french. French being my native language. I have 40yrs old and 3 kids. I work in the IT for 18yrs now.
I agree with everything on the COC.

Why applying in AP?
AP was one of the most active guild that I could remember on RK the last time I played. I always found AP members to be "good sport" players, even if I was on the opposite side. I hate guilds filled with jerks, douches and epeenmasters. I prefer a friendly atmosphere where sharing is more important than bragging. I am starting a fresh character on RK2019. Starting fresh, why not starting a whole new adventure in AO. Switching side and meeting a whole bunch of new players.

Welcome to the AP forums and thanks for your interest in AP on the RK2019 server and thx for agreeing the CoC.

We're in the process of putting together a little process for the new server to accommodate applicants coming through that way. Your Omniness on RK5 would make it difficult to take you in on that server.

The next step is to join our guest channel on our org bot so we can meet/team online. Most but not all as yet of our officers have set up in RK2019Any AP member can invite you to guest chat. It does not have to be an officer.
You can usually find AP members at the big Vanguards building ramp near OA grid terminal.
If you can’t find a member you can self invite by typing /tell Bobsan !join
This is a temporary invite, so you'll have to do it each time you want to be on guest chat.

Once on guest chat, feel free to ask for an officer and introduce yourself, and also ask for help with any questions you may have about your application.

At some point soon, after you've spent some time with us, an officer will contact you for a brief interview. As our officers can be busy with raids and other duties, it may take a moment to contact you. Always feel free to tell an officer that you are there.

Il y a d'autres APs du Canada (Falconcrat et ses tous ses alts par exemple) ou qui parlent français pour diverses raisons (comme Bitnykk et divers autres: il suffit de poser régulièrement la question pour qu'ils se manifestent).

There are other APs from Canada (Falconcrat and all his alts for example) or who speak French for various reasons (like Bitnykk and several others: you just need to ask the question regularly so that they will show up).

Sorry, bobsan on the new server is not yet set for auto-invites. It's a temp bot that was set up very fast as FC didn't announce any start date for the server.

We need to redo some settings.

Yes, invites to the guest channel are temporary. But the !join command will be back soon with the permanent bot, and, anyhow, regarding applications, we proceed generally quite fast so it's not much of an inconvenience. Still, we are sorry for the hiccups at the moment; we had to do very fast as FC started the new server without any announced schedule.
