Application for Gilliana

Hello, my character's name is Gilliana and I would like to join Athens Paladins.

I am returning player having played off and on over the years taking long breaks in between. The last I played was around 2017, so it's been awhile, lol.

Timezone is US EST.

I agree to the COC.

My main is a 220 Bureaucrat names Gilliana. I have several alts (of varying usefulness) with similar names.

I would like to join because I'm looking for a group of laid-back, mature people to just have some fun with. I don't like drama, but I do like learning how to play this game because I still don't think I'm good at it despite how much I've played. :biggrin:

Hello Gilliana and welcome to our forums. Welcome back in AO one again, also, I guess. :)

By the sound of your reasons for your interest in AP, chances are you could be a good fit to our family. :)

Your time zone is decent for raiding, if you can play at least sometimes in "your" afternoon, and you can always get teams and even improvised raids during your evening. We're working on offering more for "US" time zones which are somewhat less populated in AO. It's not done yet though.

Regarding learning, you're at the right place, we can help and explain and take you to many places and new challenges.

That said, thanks for reading and agreeing on our Code of Conduct and Org chat guidelines.

Now, your next step is now to join our guest channel on our org bot so we can meet/team online. Any AP member can invite you to guest chat. It does not have to be an officer.
You can usually find AP members at the big Vanguards building ramp near OA grid terminal.
If you can’t find a member you can self invite by typing /tell Bobsan !join
This is a temporary invite, so you'll have to do it each time you want to be on guest chat.

Once on guest chat, feel free to ask for an officer and introduce yourself, and also ask for help with any questions you may have about your application.

At some point soon, after you've spent some time with us, an officer will contact you for a brief interview. As our officers can be busy with raids and other duties, it may take a moment to contact you. Always feel free to tell an officer that you are there.
