Hello, my name is Vangarrot and I would like to join Athen Paladins. The last time I played AO was 2011 so have forgotten pretty much everything and was surprised to just be able to find my old original account.

Really wanting to find a noob forgiving, active and patient community to relearn the game with. I was worried coming back that the game was not populated and was very excited to see so many people still appreciating the game. As an older player was excited to come across Paladins and learn of their COD, which sounds like we are on the same page.

My time zone is US PST or -8 GMT I am usually online 7PM - 2AM (During this time)

Hi Vangarrot, grats on your resurrection! Wlcome back in AO and on our froums too.
I said today to two other returning players applying to join us: another applicant, we are glad to be a new home and family for old-timers coming back!:)

Your next step will be to join our guest channel on our org bot so we can meet/team online. Any AP member can invite you to guest chat. It does not have to be an officer.
You can usually find AP members at the big Vanguards building ramp near OA grid terminal.
If you can’t find a member you can self invite by typing /tell Bobsan !join
This is a temporary invite, so you'll have to do it each time you want to be on guest chat.

Once on guest chat, feel free to ask for an officer and introduce yourself, and also ask for help with any questions you may have about your application.

At some point soon, after you've spent some time with us, an officer will contact you for a brief interview. As our officers can be busy with raids and other duties, it may take a moment to contact you. Always feel free to tell an officer that you are there.
