Hi there, I'm Makathet and I would like to join you in your Org. I've been around since 2004, but I'd probably call what i've been doing is dabbling more than playing. After all these years and thousands of hours in many other MMOs, I decided that I'd like to finally dive deep into AO and experience the content. I have several characters, but I'd likely end up deleting most of them and just focus new starting with a shade that I have leveled up to 60 at the time of this writing.

I'd like to join AP because it has been lonely playing through the game solo. I don't mind playing by myself and working my way and earning my own achievements, but it would be nice to have people to talk to, ask questions to, and even join up with whenever possible.
I stumbled on AP's post on the AO forums and have been reading through your website and would love to find out if we're a good fit for each other.
(also, just realized i've been following the Shade guide posted on your website)

Time zone: US CST. My work schedule is weekend nights, so usually i'd be online for an hour or two in the morning on Th - Sun. The rest of the week i'm on for several hours mostly at night at any point during the hours between 1pm and about 9am.

I have read the Code of Conduct and agree fully.

Again, it's good to see an old-timer coming back but, even, more, wanting to experience the full power of AO!

We love having helping old players and offering them a new home.

We'll of course try to contact you in-game anyhow as soon as possible but it can be faster to join our guest channel on our org bot so we can meet online. Any AP member can invite you to guest chat. It does not have to be an officer.
You can usually find AP members at the big Vanguards building ramp near OA grid terminal.
If you can’t find a member you can self invite by typing /tell Bobsan !join
This is a temporary invite, so you'll have to do it each time you want to be on guest chat.

Once on guest chat, feel free to ask for an officer and introduce yourself, and also ask for help with any questions you may have about your application. We have several people on our guest channel, including new characters of existing members, so please don't be shy and say -and potentially say again- you are a new applicant!

At some point soon, an officer will contact you for a brief interview. As our officers can be busy with raids and other duties, it may take a moment to contact you. Always feel free to tell an officer that you are there.
