Consolidated guides & resources thread

Post by Gridframe »

Hey Paladins, readers,

After speaking to Scythe the other day I asked if it would be worthwhile consolidating all the currently available guides and resources for AO as of April 2025.
Many old sites are gone and lots of guides are to be found with search functions and as someone who appreciates consolidation of assets, I decided to make a thread so without further delay, here goes:

RESOURCES (Websites and tools):-------------------

Auno Nano and equipment database, has most things, is however a wee bit outdated but very usable still.

AOGalaxy Most current nano database, shows sources too like RK Store, Mission and Quest reward.

AOSetups Most current setup platform. Allows sharing, and is also used for buffbots ingame to create implants quickly.

AO tinkertools Amazing little resource to build implants (like the old nanonanny) and other cool tools.

Kennyboy's site Symbiant comparison tool. Neat.

AO Stonks GMI viewing website. Current, but does have some update delays. 95% accurate, just cross reference availability of items on GMI itself.

AOUniverse Ye good ol' resource for everything AO.

Jexai's tools An out of game Shadowlands map that shows statics, mob lvl range and bosses contained within. Very useful for those who love statics.

Dovve GUI's Alternative, minimalist UI options. Easy to use.

SL Reskin for default UI Reskin for the standard UI, with a Shadowlands theme.
NOTE: This links immediately downloads the files.

AI Reskin for default UI Reskin for the standard UI, with a Alien Invasion theme.
NOTE: This links immediately downloads the files.

DGVoodoo2 Allows for optimalization of AO with better DirectX support. A must have I'd say.

AOPP Adds quality of life improvements to the game like better memory allocation, view distance increase, better FPS caps, numpad support etc.

Mishbuddy Your Clicksaver mission roller variant.
NOTE that clicksaver is downloadable via AOUniverse.

Mali's mission roller
Another Clicksaver alternative.

AOLadderer Implant laddering help tool, made by David Galehouse.

AODamagemeter AO Damage meter, made by David Galehouse.

AOIA+ Anarchy Online Item assistant. A tool to help manage stuff on all your toons across accounts.

Pixelmania Literally a handful of tools covering dd meter, buffbots, item finder, to be used with AOSharp.

Collector loot table If you find yourself beating up the collector and want to know what he can give you after succumbing to the battering, go there.

HELP! I cant reactivate my acc! Fret not, you CAN reactivate, I did so using this in 2025, it still works - read on!

Albtraum TS A great list made by our humble overlord, Chrisax.

GUIDES:-------------------

The best looking old engine Besaids amazing guide to make the old client look peak.
Uses AOPP, DGVoodoo2 and Reshade. Check it out!

NT Kite spots An old yet still valid Rubi-Ka NT kiting guide for beginning NT's who wish to kite on Rubi-Ka.

PROFESSION GUIDES (Some may be a little outdated, but the gist remains very valid).-------------------

UI Pref copying A guide on how to copy UI preferences from toon to toon.

Doc Noobas' Doctor guide.

Enfo Noobas' Enforcer guide.

Shade Noobas' Shade guide.

MA Engelen's MA guide.

Engi Aramsunat's Engi guide.

FixerAginor_GotD's Fixer guide.

Trader Saetos' Trader guide.

Advy Adenturer guide hosted on AOUniverse.

Soldier Alezander's Soldier guide. (references Tepamina's soldier guide) hosted on AOUniverse.

NT Jeremiah's Nano-Technician guide.

Crat Bureaucrat guide hosted on AOuniverse.

Keeper Keeper guide, hosted on the new AO forums.

MP Dancingrage's Little Meta-Physicist guide.

NOTE that an Agent guide is missing, since the common consensus amongst many players is that the class is too much of a variable in ways to play to make a decisive, singular guide.

-----------------

If any additions need to be put in the thread, let me know and I will update it.

I hope this helps someone, having everything central!
