:( I'm afraid manual download is the only solution.

You can use FTP instead of the web if you have a FTP client allowing you to select and launch all the downloads together instead of clicking on each link:

ftp://download.anarchy-online.com/patches/

The patches you need are the names ending with "EP1" when there is a choice. EP1 is the large client.

thank you chris, i'll try that.

also GM Thessaly responded back to my email and here is what he/she said if anyone else is having the same issue...

Greetings,

For Checksum errors, please try the following:

1) Disable your antivirus and firewall software

2) If using Vista, disable UAC (User Account Control)

3) Attempt to auto-patch again.

If you still cannot patch, you may need to use a standalone patch.
These patches are located here, and will depend on which version you are
getting a checksum error with:

ftp://ftp.funcom.com/cd/patches/

Right now the most recent patches are here:

Free client:

ftp://ftp.funcom.com/cd/patches/AOPatch ... 18.1.0.exe

Paid client:

ftp://ftp.funcom.com/cd/patches/AOPatch ... .0_EP1.exe

If you need another version, please use CTRL-F in your browser to
search for your version number, as the files may not appear in order. As
of 18.1.0, all patch files are available at ftp://ftp.funcom.com/cd/patches/

4) If all else fails, you may need to consider a clean reinstall with
antivirus and UAC disabled, and try the standalone patches again if
auto-patching fails.

I apologize for the inconvenience.
